Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is hiring a Quality Engineer for its Greene, NY location. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers to resolve technical problems across electro‑mechanical assemblies and fabricated parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable engineering field, computer science, or professional license.
• Previous quality engineering or related experience.
• Ability to interpret GD&T engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality techniques to electro‑mechanical assemblies, fabrication, welding, harnesses, cables, and formulated materials.
• Develop quality management processes and procedures.
• Evaluate quality issues and implement documented solutions.
• Understand manufacturing and electronics processes, assemblies, harnesses, and machined parts.

The Role:

In this role,you’llwork closely with Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers to evaluate and resolve technical problems while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Use extensive technical skills,expertise, and knowledge of quality techniques as applied to electro-mechanicalassemblies,fabrication, weldingtechniques,harnesses and cables, and formulated materials.
• Develop processes/procedures for Quality Management systems
• Evaluate technical quality issues and develop solutions with documentation provided
• Understandmanufacturing processes withexpertisein electronics, electronic assemblies,harnesses,mechanical assemblies as well as fabricated, machined, and welded parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Be a key member of the team in completion and resolution of large, consequential quality system projects.
• Be knowledgeable in quality assurance for software developmentpertaining toembedded systems, and telematics.
• You’llbe the go-to for quality assurance for alternate energy storage systems and auto-guided vehicles.

WhatYour Total Compensation & Benefits Package willlook like:

Salary

$64,440- $94,667 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
