Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a passionate Quality Engineer for our Muscatine, IA site. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to resolve technical problems while supporting quality initiatives across electro-mechanical assemblies and embedded systems.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, develop quality processes, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Travel up to 25% is possible; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable engineering field, computer science, or professional license.
• Experience in quality engineering or related field is preferred.
• Ability to interpret GD&T engineering drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use extensive technical skills to evaluate quality of electro-mechanical assemblies, fabrication, welding, harnesses and cables.
• Develop processes/procedures for Quality Management systems.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Use extensive technical skills,expertise, and knowledge of quality techniques as applied to electro-mechanicalassemblies,fabrication, weldingtechniques,harnesses and cables, and formulated materials.
• Develop processes/procedures for Quality Management systems
• Evaluate technical quality issues and develop solutions with documentation provided
• Understandmanufacturing processes withexpertisein electronics, electronic assemblies,harnesses,mechanical assemblies as well as fabricated, machined, and welded parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Be a key member of the team in completion and resolution of large, consequential quality system projects.
• Be knowledgeable in quality assurance for software developmentpertaining toembedded systems, and telematics.
• You’llbe the go-to for quality assurance for alternate energy storage systems and auto-guided vehicles.

• Experience with Toyota Production Systems
• Experience with Part Production Approval Process
• Understanding of lean techniques and continuous improvement

WhatYour Total Compensation & Benefits Package willlook like:

Salary-$64,440- $106,800per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
