Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead production and supplier quality initiatives, reduce warranty costs, and improve factory defects.

You will partner with Warranty, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve issues quickly and drive continuous quality improvements across the supply chain. Responsibilities include maintaining a Supplier Quality Management system, coordinating PPAP activities, supporting MRB to minimize scrap, and guiding corrective actions with

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Must be technically knowledgeable and capable of understanding engineering and quality concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of auditing, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies such as ISO9001, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Warranty, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier and other teams to resolve production/field issues in a timely manner to reduce top20 warranty claims and improve factory defects per unit.
  • Maintain a Supplier Quality Management system to support company initiatives and requirements; manage technical/quality relationships with suppliers.
  • Represent Logisnext as the primary contact for supplier product and process quality issues.
  • Demonstrate leadership by facilitating cross-functional initiatives involving Supplier Management, Production Procurement, Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering.
  • Investigate supplier related defects on production lines and initiate follow-up on corrective actions to ensure complete root cause analysis and effective actions.
  • Support PPAP requirements and MRB to reduce scrap and supplier defects impacting production.

Provide a positive customer experience through building strong relationships through timely problem resolution.
