Magna New Mobility, a Magna International business unit, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, test, and modify software across cloud-based products. You will drive API and backend testing, build automated tests with Python, and contribute to regression testing in an Agile environment.

The role offers a hybrid in-office policy with domestic travel up to ~10% and a base salary range disclosed by Magna. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years QA experience are required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer required.
• 2+ years in automation testing and 2+ years in manual testing preferred.
• Strong experience in API and Backend testing of cloud technologies.

Analyzes users needs and develops software solutions.What you will be doing in this role:Test a wide range of cloud technologies both in isolation and within the larger product ecosystem.Focused on finding and categorizing bugs, ensuring feature completeness and assessing reliability and performance of cloud systems.Focus on automation to perform repetitive testing tasks as well as regression testing covering various versions of end user client software.Testing expertise for our team and be a constant advocate for our customers.High level of coding aptitude combined with a demonstrated passion for Quality Assurance and be responsible to own and drive complex projects.What you should bring to this role:B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required3+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer is required2+ years’ experience in automation testing is preferred2+ years’ experience in manual testing is preferredSpecial Knowledge / Skills:Strong experience in API and Backend testing of cloud technologiesStrong coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools and servicesStrong experience with AppiumStrong experience with automated Python testingStrong experience in API and Backend testing of cloud technologies.Fluency in programmatic-level testing, user-level automation and API level testing.Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.Experience working in a lab environment.Physical Demands / Work Environment:Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.Hybrid in-office policy: 3 days in office per week, but will be needed to work up to 100% in office as the work requires.Domestic and international travel up to ~10%.Hiring Base Salary Range: $66,800 - $124,200 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
