Carrier is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality at a manufacturing facility. You will design control plans, inspect processes, and drive improvements across production lines.

About This Role

The Quality Engineer ensures the quality of products and processes at a Carrier manufacturing facility, applying quality‑control and improvement tools and supporting production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements control plans and inspection methods.
  • Performs root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving (8D).
  • Supports process validation (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
  • Manages supplier quality and non‑conformances.
  • Supports pilot runs and production lines.
  • Analyzes and reports quality KPIs (PPM, SPC, MSA).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of quality‑engineering experience in a discrete/assembly environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Quality Engineering.
  • Hands‑on command of core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and control plans.
  • Proven experience with root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving (8D).
  • Experience managing supplier quality and non‑conformances.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and proficiency with statistical tools (Minitab) preferred.
  • Experience supporting new production lines.
Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
