Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Use ERP systems to document, track, and report quality data, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and SPC.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer leads the quality department and ensures full compliance with all quality management processes and standards. This role develops, implements, maintains, and continually improves the Quality Management System (QMS), while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards. The Quality Engineer also drives root cause analysis and corrective actions, manages nonconforming product processes, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in a growing, advanced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Own the quality department and ensure compliance with all quality management processes and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 requirements.

  • Manage nonconforming product processes, including documentation, disposition, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support and lead internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and closure of audit findings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Use ERP systems to document, track, and report quality data, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and statistical process control activities.
  • Analyze technical information, inspection results, and process data to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Communicate quality performance, issues, and improvement plans clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Contribute as a key member in a growing operation, supporting facility expansion and the introduction of new processes and equipment.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of quality experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
  • Experience with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Zeiss equipment and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Ability to interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools for dimensional inspection.
  • Experience with AS9100 quality management systems.
  • Experience managing nonconformance reports (NCR) and related processes.
  • Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Strong root cause analysis skills and familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical information and make sound decisions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • ASQ certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), CQM/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence), or a related credential.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and structured problem-solving frameworks.
  • Experience in data center, electrical, or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Interest in working with high-impact components and advanced inspection technologies.
  • Desire to contribute as a key member of a growing operation during facility expansion.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
