Qualifications

  • Requires a 4 year degree or equivalent in manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with structured problem solving tools like 8Ds, 5 Whys, Fishbones, and analysis of process variation.
  • Excellent communication and data management skills with strong attention to detail.

Job Details

The Supplier Quality Engineer will serve as a leader and technical resource for part inspection, supplier quality responsibilities, auditing, and root cause analysis to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Primary interface with partners for plant level quality issues, managing sorting, containment, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate, lead, and facilitate quality requests and verification audits in a timely manner.
  • Review mass production evaluation documentation, including process flow diagrams, control plans, and dimensional data.
  • Track and report data trends, maintaining related databases for process error proofing and quality assurance.
  • Manage vendor debits, process return material authorizations, and operate basic accounting functions.
Qualifications
  • 4 year degree or equivalent related manufacturing quality assurance experience.
  • Practical understanding of quality systems, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of structured problem solving tools like 8Ds, 5 Whys, Fishbones, and process variation analysis.
  • Excellent communication and data management skills with strong attention to detail.
