Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Quality Engineer for its Stack Forging Thermal Solutions team at Johnson Controls in Burlington, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to develop and document standard procedures while ensuring high-quality standards.

Position

Quality Engineer – Stack Forging Thermal Solutions team at Johnson Controls.

Overview

Work with sleeve-rollers to set high standards in a collaborative, non-siloed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document standard procedures.
• Create and execute inspection plans, gather other data as needed.
• Assist with root cause analysis of issues, follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and prepare customer documentation.
• Assist with calibration.
• Other quality tasks as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing quality system.
• Experience with part prints, tolerancing.
• Experience with inspection tools, hand‑held (micrometers, calipers) and advanced (comparators, CMM, vision systems).
• Ability to write clear instructions and follow instructions.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, Word documents and basic statistics.
• BS in technical field or engineering preferred.
