Job summary

Moog, located in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Quality Engineer to plan and execute cost-effective quality processes to meet contractual requirements and protect Moog and its customers. You will report to a QE Manager and work onsite in East Aurora, Buffalo area.

Responsibilities include leading program-quality decisions, collaborating with global partners, and improving production through QE studies and root-cause analysis. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of quality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with problem solving tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality success on program teams by meeting contractual requirements and driving decisions.
  • Collaborate with global partners to gather insights, resolve challenges, and communicate with customers.
  • Improve production through QE studies, recommend design changes, and support manufacturing.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams through problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly & test, and final inspection.
  • Work with customers and suppliers to identify root causes and corrective actions on complex issues.
  • Reduce inspection costs and prevent failure-related expenses through statistical analysis and problem-solving.
