and is based onsite in East Aurora, NY with a first shift. Responsibilities include supporting audits, root cause analysis, data collection, and cross‑functional collaboration with Quality, Design, PM, and manufacturing teams.

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is in search of an Associate Quality Engineer to plan and execute cost-effective quality processes to assure that we will meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection to Moog and its Customers. In this role, you will have a measurable impact on our business performance by promoting the highest standards of quality.
Given the complexity of the hardware we produce, we’re looking for someone who understands its critical nature.
You will report to a Program QE Manager and this role offers a First Shift, On‑Site schedule at our East Aurora, NY location.
As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will:
These activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, and traceability.
Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection.
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective actions on complex issues.
Reduce inspection costs and prevent failure‑related expenses through statistical analysis and problem‑solving.
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and team building qualities.
Be self‑motivated and follow through on assignments with limited supervision.
Be able to work on several assignments and programs concurrently.
Buffalo, NY $70,000.00–$90,000.00 Annually
Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
