Job summary

Job description

Job Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing and driving the core functions of the plant’s quality and continuous improvement systems.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, implement, and train quality equipment programming and troubleshooting (CMM, AVID, Infinity).
  • Develop and oversee validation and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ/CQV) for software, injection, printing, and finishing processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities including quality improvements, scrap reduction, efficiency enhancement, risk review, and other cost savings.
  • Program and support using 3D printer.
  • Perform customer specification reviews and approvals, create stock specifications, and assist with quality agreements.
  • Manage GMP, ISO, and SQF quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 15378, ISO 13485, SQF, FDA).
  • Support other quality systems such as change control, deviations, and CAPA.
  • Back up Quality Supervisor/Manager as needed.
Qualifications

Preferred: Certified black belt in process improvement.
