Job summary

Magna International in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a Quality Control/QA professional to support manufacturing excellence. You will apply quality planning, run measurements and sampling, and help improve customer satisfaction while maintaining plant-wide quality systems.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent) and about one year of QC/QA experience, with familiarity with standard tools and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates quality planning including control plans, FMEA, audit/inspection details, sample submissions and training plans for inspection.
• Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitors, reports and improves customer satisfaction performance.
• Implements and maintains plant wide quality systems.

Job Responsibilities

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience and High School diploma or GED
• One year experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA & SPC), Automotive Customer, or similar quality requirements
• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferredOperate standard office equipment preferred
• Ability to do trigonometric functions, geometry, and basic math
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must have computer skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
