Job summary

Magna Cosma International is seeking a quality engineering leader for our Michigan facility. You will drive process quality in die casting operations, oversee technicians and auditors, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standards.

You’ll mentor staff, coordinate training and performance reviews, and plan inspection tasks across 2nd or 3rd shifts to maintain production quality and efficiency. A strong background in automotive manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within die casting or automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience supervising or leading quality teams is preferred.
