Job summary

Taylor Defense Products, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a Quality Focus to support inspection, process control, and documentation on the shop floor. You will work closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, Welding, CNC, Assembly, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products meet drawings and specifications.

We invite new graduates and early-career engineers who are detail-oriented and eager to learn in a defense manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail; disciplined documentation and problem solving.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or willingness to develop this skill.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Control throughout manufacturing, including dimensional, visual, and in-process inspection.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, GD&T, and customer acceptance requirements.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, control plans, work instructions, process documentation, and quality records.
• Assist with PPAP and APQP activities, first-article inspections, process validation, and data collection of quality evidence.
• Identify and disposition nonconforming material and manufacturing issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
