Job summary

BMWC Constructors is seeking a Quality Department Data Entry Clerk to support the Quality and Fabrication Management Team on large industrial construction projects. You will input quality records, run reports from data, and enter records daily into our systems.

The role requires fast, accurate typing, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment; occasional six-day workweeks and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of data entry or clerical experience; construction experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic database tools.
• Fast typing skills with close attention to detail.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Ability to work six days a week, 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Type data provided and move data from paper formats into computer files or database systems.
• Accurately input large sums of data and perform verification against source documents.
• Review and update existing data as necessary and collect data from databases or electronic files.
• Manage and file electronic and hard copy paperwork to prevent loss.
• Communicate with quality team and project personnel regularly.
• Embrace process improvements and best practices.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
