Job summary

Stellantis NV's Sterling Heights Assembly Plant seeks a Quality Data Analyst to support warranty issue identification and problem definition. You will analyze warranty data, identify trends, and document issues for engineering and quality teams.

You will work with cross-functional teams to track issue resolution, ensure containment, and drive permanent corrective actions, including creating clear transmittals and communicating findings to dealers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical degree.
• 1+ years' experience as an analyst or related field.
• Ability to translate technical data into executive summaries.

Job description

The Quality team is currently seeking a solutions-oriented Quality Data Analyst to join the Quality team at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. The Quality Data Analystis responsible forsupporting in the identification of warranty issues from the field and clearly defining the problem or issue. The Quality Analyst will research warranty data for issue identification, and document and communicateappropriate communicationsto thesupport teams responsible. They will work with Engineering and assembly plant personnel to track issue resolution andensureeffective containment and permanent corrective actions areestablished.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze warranty claim data
• Perform analysis of warranty data toidentifytrends, emerging issues, and focus areas
• Fast Track parts toappropriate locationsto provide samples and/or examples of the condition under investigationin order todemonstratethe issue
• Research issues using available tools
• Createappropriate documentation(Transmittals/GIMs) that very clearlydescribethe vehicle issue that the customer experiences
• Provideadditionalinformation to the individuals assigned to understand and resolve the issue
• MaintainTransmittal updates based on input from the Engineers assigned to issue resolution
• Assure all criteria are met for Transmittal closure
• Chart dataasrequiredto define an issue todemonstrateprogress of the team
• Participate in processes consistent with issue resolution management and closure
• Achieve KPI's established
• Communicate with dealers to better understand vehicle issuesand dealerrepair actions
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment
• Representthe "Voice of the Customer" to the platform teams
• Interface with other areas of Quality as well as Engineering through the performance of ad-hoc analysis

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science inEngineering, EngineeringTechnologyorrelated technical degree
• 1+years' experienceworking asan analyst or other related field
• Ability to work and interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats
• Ability to embrace cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis toidentifyroot causes and attack them to closure
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning
• Microsoft Office intermediate oradvanceknowledge
• Willingness to work off shift hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineeringorothersimilar technicalequivalent
• Preferred5 + years' manufacturing experience,Powertrain Manufacturing experience a plus
• Preferred5+ years’ experience in program management or multi-tasking environment
