Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Quality Coordinator (RN) for our Saddle Brook, NJ location. The role supports the hospital's Quality Program, data collection, analysis, and reporting across risk management, infection control, and education, helping ensure accreditation readiness.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the DQM, policy implementation, and participation in staff training, with a focus on improving patient care quality and safety in a demanding inpatient rehab

Qualifications

• Valid NJ RN license required.
• 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
• Familiarity with accrediting standards (TJC and CARF) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Quality Management with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program, including data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.
• Assist with activities to maintain accreditation, certification, and licensure.
• Support implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan and quarterly quality meetings.

Compensation: $46-$61.93/Hour (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program. The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities may include data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.

• Assists with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
• Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
• Assists with preparationof quarterly quality meetings.
• Assists with survey readiness and root cause analyses.
• Assists in the implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.
• Assists with medical staff quality improvement activities, including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.
• Assists the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.
• Assists with the implementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.
• Participates in employee training and education.
• Assist with employee health activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Valid professional NJ RN License required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
• Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
• Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.
