Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL seeks a Quality Coordinator/RN to implement and oversee quality improvement programs for stroke, sepsis, and cardiovascular data.

You will train staff, track measures, and ensure data validity for regulatory reporting, driving readiness and continuous improvement across departments. The role requires an RN with BSN and experience in acute care quality, with strong data skills.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution; MS in nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance in an acute care setting.
• Minimum 1–3 years as a clinical nurse in medical-surgical setting.
• Experience with core measures abstraction, benchmarking, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and oversee quality improvement programs for stroke, sepsis, and cardiovascular data and reporting.
• Provide instruction, training and education on assigned programs and track measures.
• Ensure readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys via data collection, rounding, and feedback.
• Present data and educate staff and leaders on areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

Alan B. Miller Medical Center A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state‑of‑the‑art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.

Quality Coordinator/RN (Full Time 40 hours a week)

Responsible for the implementation, management, and oversight of the quality improvement programs for clinical focus areas of stroke, sepsis, and cardiovascular clinical data and reporting. Responsible for instruction, training and education regarding the assigned programs and tracking the measures, determining data validity and reporting the results in a format that can be reported to regulatory and accreditation registries. Responsible for ensuring knowledge of the continual readiness requirement for accreditation and regulatory surveys through data collection, rounding, and feedback to departments and staff. Present data and provide education and feedback to patients, staff and leaders in the facility regarding areas of expertise.

Qualifications

Quality Coordinator/RN Job Requirements:

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited educational institution required. MS in nursing or master’s degree in related field from an accredited educational institution preferred.

Experience:

• Minimumof1yearsofexperienceinquality assurancein an acutecare setting.
• Minimum1-3yearsas a clinical nurse in medical surgical setting
• Experienced in the use of core measures abstraction, benchmarking, spreadsheet software, and databases.

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of Joint Commission standards, NPGs, state and federal standards,coremeasuresandvalue-basedstar ratings for clinical indicators.
• Knowledgeofperformance improvementmethodologiesandoutcomemanagement.
• Knowledge of peer review and clinical chart reviews.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility operations, functions, and staffing requirements.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge Microsoft Office products and Cerner (preferred).

License / Certification:

• Current and unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license.
• CPHQ preferre d. CPHQ must be obtained within 24 months of hire date.
