Job summary

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Quality Coordinator for the Monroe, OH facility to inspect materials and processes, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across production. This role guides Quality Auditors in the absence of supervisors.

Key tasks include first article inspections, calibration administration, and QC for incoming/outgoing goods, with emphasis on GD&T, blueprints, and window system components.

Qualifications

• Currently a Quality Auditor and in role for more than 1 year.
• Good attendance and not under disciplinary restrictions.
• Able to use calipers, optical comparator and tape measure.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Able to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GD&T.
• One to two years related experience and/or training in quality related field.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance with quality standards and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints (GD&T) to verify design intent is met.
• Communicate inspection results with managers, supervisors and operators to improve quality.
• Perform first article inspections (color checks, impact, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections, measurements).
• Perform quality checks on engineering prints and recommend changes.
• Administer calibration program for measurement equipment used in processes.
• Maintain quality control on incoming and outgoing goods and report results to suppliers/customers.
• Train new quality auditors.
• Possess Charpy testing ability and submit reports.
• Understand window system components and Brabender test results.
• Tag carts for hold/scrap and support calibration activities.

Deceuninck North America is a fully integrated design, compounding, tooling, and PVC extrusion company that produces energy-efficient vinyl window and door systems for the building, remodeling and construction industry.

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Quality Coordinator(s) for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Quality Coordinator(s)responsibilities include inspecting materials, processes, and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. The Quality Coordinator provides guidance to Quality Auditors in the absence of the Quality Supervisors.

Core Responsibilities

• Performs inspections on product and equipment to insure conformance to specifications during design, process and calibration phases.
• Follows procedures for test methods and test equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) so that design intent can be distinguished.
• Communicates with managers, production supervisors, production leads and operators in an effort to assure product quality.
• Perform first article inspections, including but not limited to color checks, impact, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections and gage measurements.
• Performs quality checks on all engineering prints and recommends needed changes.
• Administer calibration program for all assigned measurement equipment including instruments used to measure or control a process.
• Administer quality control program on incoming and outgoing goods. Communicate inspection results to affected supplier/vendor and/or customer.
• Train new quality auditors.
• Charpy testing ability to perform test and send out reports.
• Knowledge of window systems components.
• Review and understand Brabender test results.
• Properly tagging carts for hold/scrap.
