Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Greenfield, IN location. You will perform quality tests on products to verify UL requirements and inspect on cutting lines, molding, expanding, and shipping to ensure quality products are produced and shipped to customers.

The role includes 40-hour weeks with occasional overtime, no travel, and strong emphasis on safety and documentation. You will work with engineering and production to improve quality and support audits.

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Use gauges and measuring devices to verify specifications.
• Enter test results into the company database and manage documents.
• Communicate quality issues with engineering, shipping and scheduling daily.
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in UL audits on a quarterly basis.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in external and internal quality audits.
• Support Production with quality plans and test requirements updates.
• Help customer service respond to questions about product capability and limitations.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and scrap reduction.
