Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Technician for our Boone Quarry in Verona, KY. This full-time, day-shift role tests materials to ensure compliance with specifications and provides technical support to customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining control charts, documenting results, assisting sales and management with customer service, and ensuring safety/environmental compliance. Must pass drug screen and physical; ability to lift 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year QC experience in aggregates preferred
• 3+ years experience in aggregate/construction fields preferred
• Skilled in operating QC lab equipment and testing materials
• Knowledges of gradations and related testing procedures
• KYTC Certified Aggregate Technician preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office and Stonemont or similar
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Strong math and computing skills
• Flexible schedule incl. Saturdays/overtime
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; team player
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Operate testing equipment and company vehicles safely
• Maintain clean lab environment
• May perform other duties
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Responsibilities
