Genesis Global Group's Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. (MDL) is seeking a Quality Control Technician at 2439 Kuser Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690 to perform accessioning checks and verify clinical laboratory results.

The role requires attention to detail, LIS data entry, and familiarity with PCR-based assays; prior QC experience is preferred. You will collaborate with lab personnel to resolve discrepancies while maintaining patient privacy in a business casual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Microbiology or related Science field.
• Basic computer literacy.
• LIS experience preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Previous quality control experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the PCR method, Molecular Biology, Bacteriology or Virology is also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs accessioning checks for all of the requisitions sent to the clinical laboratory.
• Assess the accuracy of specimen information entered into the LIS and identify any accessioning discrepancies.
• Maintains accurate record of discrepancies, and gives discrepancy reports to the appropriate department for corrective action.
• Analyzes, enters and verifies clinical laboratory results including but not limited to: Real-time PCR, conventional PCR, Western blots, ELISA, IFA, and antibiotic resistance testing.
• Identifies samples that require repeat or additional testing to ensure accurate results.
• Communicates with lab personnel about any testing issues or pending results.
