Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Quality Control Technician in California to ensure concrete production meets all specification requirements. You will collaborate with production leads to monitor batching, curing, and testing, and maintain accurate documentation across the QC process.

Preferred candidates will have precast industry experience and the ability to read shop drawings, with strong record-keeping and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast industry or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop/engineering drawings.
• Must maintain clear and precise record-keeping.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs used for documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify procedures are followed according to specifications by coordinating with production leads.
• Monitor production daily activities for proper batching, placement and curing.
• Review and document test data to ensure compliance with specs.
• Notify QC Manager of deviations from requirements.
• Maintain controlled movement of items through production stages.
• Document testing records and inspections in a centralized system.
