Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine tests on raw materials and final products in an industrial manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include compressive strength testing, pour inspections, and monitoring production processes.

The role requires a high school diploma, QC experience, and the ability to read/write instructions; bilingual Spanish is a plus. ACI/PCI certification is preferred or can be earned within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Quality control experience in related industry is required.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Fabricate Concrete Plastic Property Samples.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
