NYCOA seeks bright, detail-oriented Quality Control Technicians for the night-shift team in Manchester, New Hampshire. Lab Technicians will follow quality control procedures for inspecting incoming raw materials and testing finished products.

The successful candidate will have laboratory experience, multitask well, and understand quality concepts. The starting wage is $22.60 per hour plus a $1.50 night shift differential.

• A technical degree or previous laboratory experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong multitasking skills are required.
• Precision and attention to detail are essential.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office, E‑mail).
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across departments.

Responsabilités

• Perform chemical and mechanical testing of finished products.
• Log data into the quality system and release products.
• Record effluent readings and notify City of Manchester daily.
• Collect samples for non-standard quality testing as needed.
• Input quality data and release incoming raw materials.
• Support R&D activities as needed.
• Perform equipment calibrations.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab space.
• Other duties as required.

NYCOA seeks bright, detail-oriented, and highly organized Quality Control Techniciansfor their night-shift team in Manchester, New Hampshire. Lab Technicians will follow all quality control procedures for inspecting incoming raw materials and testing of finished products. The successful candidate will be familiar with laboratory work, comfortable with multitasking and have a solid understanding of quality concepts.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

The starting wage is $22.60 per hour plus a $1.50 night shift differential. Additional levels of lab technician training are available. Upon completion of additional trainings, base wages increase to $24.33 per hour (plus shift differential).

This role is offering training and retention incentives:

• $500 bonus upon completion of first round of training
• $1,000 bonus at 6 months of employment
• $1,000 bonus at 1 year of employment

SCHEDULE: Night Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

This position follows a rotating schedule, providing employees with 5 days off every other week:

Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday, 7 PM to 7 AM (24 hours regular pay)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 PM to 7 AM (40 hours regular pay + 20 hours overtime pay)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform chemical and mechanical testing of finished products supporting Operations and R&D activities.
• Responsible for logging data into the Quality system & releasing product.
• Record effluent readings and send daily emails to the City of Manchester.
• Collect samples for any non-standard quality testing (product hold, customer issues, etc.)
• Input quality data into the quality system and release incoming raw materials
• Support R&D activities on an as-needed basis.
• Perform some equipment calibrations.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab space.
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A technical degree or previous laboratory experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Precision and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office, E-mail)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all departments and levels of the organization.
