Job summary

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Tech to support the Quality Manager in performing audits, training, and data analysis to drive process improvements in monument production.

The role includes gauge verification, calibration, and Kaizen participation to uphold quality standards. Qualifications

• High School, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
• Attention to detail and task focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect outsourced monuments for engraving accuracy, dimensions, finish quality, and structural integrity.
• Review proofs and verify all artwork, lettering, and dates.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Identify and correct production issues.
• Train and support production staff on quality standards.
• Handle quality-related customer concerns.
• Document and develop monument design standards.
• Audit monument design and maintain performance KPIs.
• Work with the design and sales team as needed.
• Participate and lead problem solving efforts related to monument quality.
