Job summary

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. in Grandview, MO is seeking a Production Operator I to join our manufacturing team. You’ll learn and perform a range of routine assembly tasks on a production line, operate basic equipment, and help ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates are capable of lifting 75+ lbs, pass a drug test, and have a valid driver’s license with a clean record. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities to grow within the Marmon Holdings family.

Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Operating from numerous manufacturing plants, warehouses, monument production facilities, a casket manufacturing plant, we are dedicated to delivering unparalleled products and services.**Manufacturing Duties:*** Learn and become proficient in all aspects of manufacturing, including operating mixers, stripping products from forms, cleaning and oiling forms, applying Unidex bonding mixture and butyl seal, and placing concrete in forms.* Cut and bend rebar and wire for reinforcement purposes.* Perform minor repairs to forms and other related equipment in the manufacturing process as needed.* Utilize various hand tools required for manufacturing tasks.* Ensure that the casting forms have clean and straight edges to produce visually appealing products.* Stock products from the previous day after applying a clear seal to the outside of the vaults.* Retrieve aged products from stock and paint them for the next day's orders.**Requirements:*** Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.* Ability to pass a new hire drug test and undergo random drug screens.* Capability to lift 75+ lbs.* Proficiency in reading maps and understanding directions.* Strong attention to detail.**Note: This job description may not include all duties and responsibilities.
