Job summary

Clarapath, a medical robotics company in New York, seeks a Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality and reliability of SectionStar and TrimStar Pro platforms. This hands-on role collaborates with Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Quality teams to meet specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a detail‑oriented mindset, familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated systems is a plus, and comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in manufacturing, engineering technology, quality, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of quality control or related technical experience preferred.
• Experience with reading engineering drawings and inspection instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Inspect parts against drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection and test results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and communicate nonconforming materials and assist with CAPA investigations.
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Assist with audits and quality documentation updates.
