Job summary

Clarapath in Westchester County, NY, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality and reliability of our SectionStar and TrimStar Pro platforms. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, document results, and participate in nonconformance investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing, engineering technology, quality, or a related field, is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, inspection, or a related technical environment preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and similar inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or defects.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated quality systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with nonconformance, CAPA, and root cause analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products
• Inspect parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and established quality standards
• Use precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
• Perform functional and quality testing of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies
• Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain required quality records
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials, components, and assemblies
• Support nonconformance investigations and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Assist with first article inspections and inspection activities associated with new or modified products
• Verify that manufacturing processes are being performed in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection and measurement equipment
• Assist with maintaining inspection procedures, checklists, and other quality documentation
• Review manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process consistency, and manufacturing efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection and work environment
• Support quality activities associated with product builds, engineering verification, and production releases
• Assist with audits and other Quality Management System activities as needed
