Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Quality Technician to conduct testing on incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring conformance to quality requirements. The role maintains a safe lab, supports ISO 9001 compliance, and assists with documentation and audits.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, preferably in extrusion products. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience in quality testing.
• Experience with ERP or similar extrusion industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing activities per product and procedural requirements.
• Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment.
• Participate in development of quality specifications for raw materials, finished products or substitutes.
• Support ISO Quality systems by understanding quality expectations and documenting accordingly.
• Perform periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods.
• Communicate with other departments about status of quality material.
• Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
