Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Quality Technician to test incoming and outgoing materials and maintain the lab in a safe, organized state in line with ISO 9001 standards. Assist with quality documentation and cross-functional QA tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in similar manufacturing environments; experience with ERP and lab processes is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth in a diversified materials group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience; ERP or similar industry preferred.
• ISO knowledge and quality systems experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing per product and procedures.
• Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment.
• Participate in development of quality specifications for raw materials and finished products.
• Support ISO quality systems by understanding quality expectations and documenting activities.
• Perform periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods.
• Communicate quality status with other departments.
• Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
