Kelly Science & Clinical in Plainfield, IN is seeking a permanent Quality Control Technician II to support inspections, testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager; duties include documenting results, addressing nonconformances, calibrating equipment, and collaborating with Production and R&D to drive continuous improvement. Pay is $20-$25/hour, shift Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of quality control experience (industrial environment preferred)
  • Knowledge of inspection methods and analytical testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic data systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate findings and work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment

Pay: $20-$25/hour

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Overview:

Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager; responsible for inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. Acts as an internal and external auditor, collaborating with Production and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials and products; accurately document results and deviations
  • Identify and report nonconformances; participate in root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment
  • Assist with training staff and developing SOPs
