Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to perform material quality tests in accordance with ASTM/AASHTO standards for our cement, asphalt or aggregate products. You will document results, troubleshoot data trends and support the Material Performance Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent or 1–3 years in materials field.
• MD DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• MSHA certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months through Amrize training.

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce Amrize safety standards, advisories and policies.
• Develop, administer and document material control plans and QA tests.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment; update QC databases and reports.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance for customers and summarize data analyses.
