Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to collect samples and perform quality control testing on residential and commercial projects. You will relay test results to management and production staff and assist with customer service issues as directed.

You will certify laboratory results and provide QC support across multiple project types, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies. This role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years experience considered
• Associate's degree preferred to enhance qualifications
• State regulated or industry certifications may be required as applicable

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Ensures testing is conducted efficiently and consistently to achieve accurate results.
• Prepare documents with test results for production personnel and quality control management.
• Maintain mix designs per project, DOT or local city/county specs to ensure accuracy of products used in mix.
• Ensure safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed.
• Examine lab samples to determine physical properties and perform tests to ensure standards are met.
• Record, analyze, certify and summarize findings; manage test-result databases; provide technical support for production.
• Assist in investigation, testing, and sampling of raw materials and finished products to solve quality problems.
• Promote a culture of health, safety and environmental policy adherence across all work environments.

Education
