The Secant Group is an advanced technology biomaterials company headquartered in Telford, Pennsylvania, with manufacturing facilities in Quakertown and Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Secant provides innovative solutions through next-generation materials, structures, textile designs, and process technologies for the medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and energy markets.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

What we're looking for:

The Quality Control Technician conducts inspection and testing activities at various manufacturing stages including incoming, in process, and final release.

What you’ll do:

• Perform first article, in process, and final release testing for raw materials, as well as textile-based products.
• Utilize a variety of testing equipment, including tensile testing machines, microscopes, and vision systems.
• Record and communicate test results manually and/or electronically.
• Inspect product for defects and contamination, according to Work Instructions (WI), Visual Inspection Criteria, SOPs, and internal specifications.
• Conduct extensive data collection to support the identification of trends to increase yields through process improvement.
• Enter visual inspection results as well as physical testing results into the applicable tracking databases.
• Package and label components in preparation for release.
• Generate certification documentation to accompany shipments.
• Enter information and use ERP system to report quantities.
• Other duties as assigned.
