Job summary

CHT USA in Cassopolis, MI is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to join our on-site lab team. You will test raw materials and final products, operate precision instruments, and work closely with manufacturing to ensure top-quality outcomes.

The role requires hands-on QC experience, familiarity with ERP systems, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. We offer a 2nd shift with a 4% shift premium and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (preferred but not required – we value hands‑on experience!).
• 2+ years of quality control lab experience (bonus points!).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ISO‑certified environments is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and master lab instruments in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform in-process and final product testing to ensure quality.
• Test and sample incoming raw materials to guarantee compliance.
• Help develop and improve test methods to stay ahead of the game.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve challenges and optimize processes.
• Keep the lab organized, clean, and ready for action.
• Manage sample retention and analyze customer complaint samples.
