Job summary

Agropur in Wisconsin is hiring for a quality control-focused role. You will perform microbiological and chemical tests on materials, monitor quality parameters, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and HACCP.

Data recording, calibration checks, and cross-functional collaboration are key daily activities. No experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; a high school diploma or equivalent is needed, with an Associate's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Science, Food Science or Chemistry preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, sampling requirements, and FDA, GMP, GLP, HACCP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform various testing procedures on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, including microbiological and chemical tests.
• Monitor quality parameters, ensuring alignment with production standards and regulatory requirements (may include document review).
• Record and communicate data from tests, identifying trends and discrepancies.
• Collect samples for testing and prepare them according to established protocols.
• Ensure facility equipment is in proper calibration and maintained to comply with GLP and SOPs.
• Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues and develop CAPA.
• Support GMP/GLP, HACCP systems and audit readiness.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including COA generation in electronic systems.
• Collaborate with operations on sampling and testing to resolve non-conformances.
• Assist with internal audits and supplier/customer audits as needed.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies.
• Provide training to production staff on quality control processes.
• Participate in equipment validations and process change management.
• Support safety protocols and report hazards.
