Agropur Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Technician I to conduct routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, and to maintain accurate testing records.

The role collaborates with production and other departments to address quality issues and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in science or chemistry preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Science, Food Science or Chemistry is preferred.
• No experience required; on the job training provided.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and relevant regulations (FDA, GMP, GLP, HACCP) is desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform microbiological and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Monitor quality parameters to ensure alignment with production standards and regulatory requirements.
• Record and communicate test data, identifying trends and discrepancies.
• Collect samples and prepare them according to established protocols.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of facility equipment per GLP and SOPs.
• Assist in root cause analysis and CAPA development.
• Support GMP/GLP/FSP/HACCP compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation including COA and other required reports.
• Collaborate with operations on sampling and testing to resolve non-conformances.
