JTM Foods LLC in Erie, PA is seeking a dependable Quality Control Technician on the 2nd shift to ensure every product leaving our facility meets high quality and food safety standards.

You will collaborate with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient, performing inspections, sampling, and documentation while adhering to GMPs and safety rules. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Responsabilités

• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
• Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and production areas are ready for safe food production.
• Verify product codes, packaging, labels, and line changeovers for accuracy.
• Inspect incoming packaging materials and review COAs as needed.
• Collect, weigh, and document product samples, including shelf-life samples.
• Conduct scheduled equipment swabbing and sanitation checks.
• Identify and report food safety or quality concerns immediately.
• Place nonconforming products on hold according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation to identify problems and solutions.
• Follow GMPs, food safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Take ownership of work and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
