Job summary

Turkey Hill Dairy in Conestoga, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) to perform food safety and quality checks on finished products, WIP, and ingredients. You will maintain test result records, monitor equipment calibration, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and SQF standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Perform duties in GMP/GLP safety guidelines.
• One year laboratory experience preferred.
• One year of food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct food safety and quality checks for finished products, work-in-progress, and ingredients.
• Maintain documentation of lab test results in the lab data management system and on required paperwork.
• Monitor calibration of lab equipment.
• Review and evaluate QA documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Operate in adherence with GMP/GLP and safety guidelines.
• Support development and implementation of SQF Food Safety & Quality.
