Job summary

Grower Direct Nut Company, Inc. is seeking a QC Technician for the Swing/PM shift (1:00pm-9:30pm) to oversee quality across production lines. You will inform Supervisors of discrepancies to improve product quality and ensure packaging meets customer specs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. Prior quality control experience is preferred. Paying $19.00-$19.50 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
• Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Accurately complete documents and paperwork that is related to the job.
• Must be computer literate.
• Punctual and good attendance is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality on all production lines during shift.
• Inform Supervisors of discrepancies to improve product quality.
• Perform HACCP inspections daily.
• Pre-operational inspections of processing equipment.
• Perform DFA paperwork checks at end of shift.
• Weigh, test and record defect percentages.
• Check packing labels for dates and customer information.
• Assist in cleaning up and follow safety regulations.
