Job summary

The candidate should have aHS diploma or equivalent, basic math and lab knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Basic understanding of lab procedures and microbiology.
• Basic math and intermediate reading skills.
• Ability to identify color differences.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and have good back/knees.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC Manager and QC Supervisor to execute the plant's vision and ensure product specifications.
• Conduct pre/post-operational SOP/SSOP/HACCP/GMP inspections and document results.
• Perform raw, in-process, and finished product testing (chemical and microbiological) and review results.
• Manage product holds and releases under supervision when directed by management.
• Issue corrective action reports for deviations and document follow-up.
• Train employees and perform other duties as required.
