Job summary

Diversified Foods and Seasonings, Theodore, AL, is seeking a QC Technician to support the QC Manager and Supervisor in ensuring products meet regulatory, customer, and company specifications. The role covers performing SOP/SSOP/HACCP/GMP inspections, lab testing (chemical and microbiological), recording results, and coordinating corrective actions and training for staff.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, good communication, and the ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to document results.
• Good communication and reading skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and mobility for lab work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QC Manager and QC Supervisor with inspections and executing plant vision.
• Perform pre/post SOP/SSOP, HACCP and GMP inspections and document results.
• Conduct chemical and microbiological testing; compare to specs and document.
• Manage product holds/releases per management disposition.
• Issue corrective action reports and track follow-up.
• Train employees and support other duties as required.
