Job summary

Diversified Foods and Seasonings is seeking a QC Technician for our Theodore, AL facility. The role supports the QC Manager and Supervisor in ensuring all products meet regulatory, customer, and company specifications.

Responsibilities include SOP/SSOP/HACCP/GMP inspections, product testing, documentation, and training of employees. Preferred candidates hold an associate's/bachelor's in science and prior QC or food manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of lab procedures and microbiology.
• Basic math and intermediate reading skills required.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC Manager and QC Supervisor to ensure products meet specifications.
• Conduct pre-operational and post-operational SOP/SSOP/HACCP/GMP inspections and document results.
• Conduct raw, in-process, and finished product testing (chemical and microbiological).
• Review products against customer and company specs and document results.
• Assist with corrective action reports and employee training.
