Job summary

Diversified Foods and Seasonings, LLC in Theodore, AL is seeking a QC Technician to support the QC Manager and QC Supervisor in ensuring products meet regulatory, customer, and company specifications. The role focuses on pre- and post-operational inspections, lab testing, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include HACCP/GMP inspections, microbiological testing, review of product specs, hold/release decisions, and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of lab procedures and microbiology required.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to identify differences in colors.
• Able to lift over 50 pounds and stay mobile.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC Manager and QC Supervisor in executing quality systems.
• Conduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections (SOP/SSOP/HACCP/GMP) and document results.
• Conduct raw, in-process, and finished product testing (chemical and microbiological).
• Review product specs and document results; manage product holds and releases.
• Issue corrective action reports and train employees as required.
