Job summary

The Freeman Company in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Technician - Quality Control to inspect, test, and stage rental equipment for accuracy and reliability. This role is in-office/warehouse and requires hands-on work with event technology to support flawless event execution.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and at least 2 years in event production or AV/warehouse operations, plus basic repair and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment rentable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in event production, AV tech, or warehouse operations
• Basic repair and troubleshooting skills are a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inbound inspections and quality control checks on rental equipment.
• Prioritize workloads based on event schedules and outbound equipment requirements.
• Stage, prepare, and verify outbound equipment to ensure readiness and accuracy.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs to return equipment to rentable condition.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain inventory levels of parts, accessories, and supporting equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality control processes and warehouse efficiency.
• Promote and follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Partner with Operations, Warehouse, and Event teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Assist with training and development of team members as needed.
