Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Texas is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and final products in an industrial indoor/outdoor setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, quality control experience, and basic computer skills; ACI/PCI certification or ability to pass within 3 months is preferred. The company offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
• Monitor production operations as required
• Assist when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
