Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a non-exempt technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products in a manufacturing setting in New York. The role includes daily strength testing, inspections, and monitoring of production operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, quality control experience, and ability to use basic computer tools. Certifications (ACI/NPCA) are preferred or must be completed within months, with lifting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/NPCA Certifications preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 to 6 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products
• Monitor production operations as required
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
