Job summary

Oldcastle is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician to perform a range of testing in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment. You will conduct routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

The role requires ACI and NPCA certifications, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This is a non-exempt, full-time position offering competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACI Field Grade Level I required.
• ACI Strength Technician Level I required.
• NPCA PQS I required.
• NPCA PQS II QC/QA required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products; report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
