Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and final products in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes daily compressive strength testing of concrete, inspections around pours, and monitoring production operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and quality control experience, with ACI/PCI certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Patch pipes and assist crew with stripping, setup, and pouring of products.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.
